One of my most remembered statement when I joined Minzu University's Islamic class for first time (and last time too, unfortunately) in 2011. He was mentioning about the Arabic class in Beijing Foreign Studies University, whereby most of its students are local non-Muslim Chinese students.
The beauty of a language lies in its holy literature. And for Arabic, it is in Quran. For non-Muslim students studying Arabic language, they will also find it in the Prophet's sayings -the Hadith, too.

Restraining for Taqwa
Sometimes, Taqwa (consciousness towards Allah) is maintained not only through chanting His attributes and reciting Quran, but also through stopping ourselves from doing deeds that displeases Him, even if we are tempted to do it in order to comfort ourselves.
Everytime you feel like doing it, then pause and ask yourself, does this comfort comes from His pleasure?
This constant struggle, or Jihad ul-Nafs, such constant pullback from doing certain deeds that displease Him, inshaAllah, also helps to re-inforce and centralized the consciousness towards Allah in your heart, and in your life.
As a result, inshaAllah you'll be able to taste the sweetness of Eeman, a precious reward from Allah. This blessing will help you to stay on in the Clean Path.
What will you get after that?
A better and closer relationship with Allah, inshaAllah

Give Up Not
我啥也不怕, 只怕我们放弃
"I am not afraid of anything (that will harm us). I'm only afraid we would give up."
In any teamwork we do, be it love relationship, work, sports, or even defense war, we must continue to strive till the last energy, last breath, last drop of blood.
This is because, no matter how heavy the trial is, even if there seem to be 'no light at the end of the tunnel', we have not been defeated actually.
The ones that doesn't kill you, would only make you stronger.
The real defeat is when we give up.
And that is more heartbreaking than being defeated.
As long as we keep our trust in Allah, He shall never abandon us in this mission.
"Enough is Allah as our helper"
"There's no strength other than from Allah".
